“SaaS product design” covers two very different jobs. One is making a marketing site and a sign-up flow look convincing. The other is designing the screens a paying customer sits inside for six hours a day — permissions, tables, filters, empty states, the settings page nobody loves and everybody uses.
Almost every agency in India will tell you it does both. Fewer have published work that shows the second one. This list is an attempt to sort that out, honestly, by reading what each firm says about itself on its own site and checking where it actually is.
Who is writing this, and how we picked
IXdesign is a UI/UX studio in Katargam, Surat, and we publish this list. We are on it. We have described the other nine the way we would want to be described: from their own websites, with no invented criticism, no ranking, and no numbers we could not check.
The rules we used:
- An Indian street address on the firm’s own site. Not a directory listing, not a city landing page.
- SaaS, B2B or enterprise product work visible in their own published positioning — not just a services menu that lists everything.
- Alphabetical order. We have not worked with the other nine, so any ranking we invented would be exactly that.
- No claims about team size, revenue, awards or client lists beyond what the firm publishes about itself, attributed as their claim.
Divami
Locations listed: Hyderabad, Bengaluru and California.
Divami sells digital experience design alongside enterprise modernisation and platform engineering, which is a particular and useful combination: the design practice sits next to people who work on legacy systems. Their published work skews enterprise rather than early-stage.
Who it suits: a company with an established product and a modernisation programme, where redesigning the interface and rebuilding what sits behind it are the same project.
IXdesign
617, Laxmi Enclave 2, Katargam, Surat. One office, a small team, twelve published projects.
Our SaaS work is the dense end: an audit management dashboard where one bright control per screen keeps hundreds of rows legible, an order operations web app built around a single triage table, and a multi-module records platform where the first design problem was navigation rather than screens. We design and hand off; we do not do product engineering.
Who it suits: a team with a working product and screens their own users complain about. We are a small studio, so a programme that needs four parallel tracks is not our shape, and we will say so.
Lollypop Design Studio
Indian offices listed in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, with further offices in the USA, the UAE and Vietnam. The Bengaluru address is on Hosur Road.
Lollypop is one of the largest design-first studios in the country. Their own pages foreground FinTech, healthcare and enterprise, claim over 150 brands served, and include front-end development alongside design.
Who it suits: a funded product company that wants a big design bench, multiple offices and a supplier that will not be a surprise to a procurement team.
NetBramha Studios
3rd Floor, MP Arcade, 18th Main Road, 4th T Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru 560041.
NetBramha positions itself as a global UI/UX design agency with a research-forward line — their own summary is about putting people first. They publish a large body of writing, including enterprise UX and design-system material, which is a reasonable way to judge how a studio thinks before you meet it.
Who it suits: a company that wants a research-led engagement and expects a studio to argue with the brief rather than execute it.
Octet Design Studio
Head office at 306, North Plaza, Motera, Ahmedabad 380005, with offices listed in Mumbai, Bangalore, Surat, Gurgaon, Dubai and Chicago.
Octet is the most explicitly SaaS-and-B2B studio on this list. Their own description names SaaS, enterprise and B2B products directly, and the site foregrounds user research and design audits, with React development offered alongside the design work.
Who it suits: a B2B software company that wants a design specialist with SaaS in its positioning rather than in its services footer.
Onething Design
Gurugram (Sector 58) and Bengaluru (Koramangala), with a San Francisco address.
Onething describes itself as a global branding and UI/UX design agency, and the branding half is not decorative — identity, websites and product design are sold together. They publish a fair amount of comparative writing about the agency market itself.
Who it suits: a company launching or repositioning a product where the brand and the interface need to be decided at the same time.
OriginUX Studio
3rd Floor, No 5, 1st Cross Road, K.R. Colony, Domlur, Bengaluru 560071.
OriginUX splits its own offer into UX strategy, UX research and UI design, with product development attached. The site is unusually explicit about what sits inside each service, which makes it easier than most to work out what you would actually be buying.
Who it suits: a team that wants research and strategy separated out as their own line items rather than folded invisibly into a design fee.
Tcules
614, Silver Radiance 2, Science City Road, Sola, Ahmedabad 380060.
Tcules calls itself a design engineering studio, says it has worked since 2014, and claims over ninety projects it has designed, built, or both. Their own standard — design that survives contact with production — is the right test for SaaS work, where the gap between the file and the shipped screen is where most of the value leaks.
Who it suits: a product team buying design and front-end from the same people, so nobody can blame the handoff.
Think 360 Studio
BG 22, Third Floor, Central Plaza, Sector 105, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, with an address in Winnipeg, Canada.
Think 360 describes itself as a B2B SaaS application design agency, with UX research, UI design and mobile development named as the core services. Of the ten firms here, it is the one whose front page is most narrowly about SaaS applications specifically.
Who it suits: a B2B SaaS company that wants a partner who has spent most of its time on that one product shape.
Yellow Slice
Mumbai (Nesco IT Park, Goregaon East) with Pune and Bangalore contacts listed.
Yellow Slice sells itself as a strategic design partner rather than a production studio, and the published work covers consumer brands as well as enterprise tools. The consumer side of the portfolio is more visible than the dashboard side.
Who it suits: a company where the product and the go-to-market story need designing together, and where consumer polish matters as much as density.
What a SaaS design engagement should actually contain
Ten names are only useful if you know what to ask them for. The parts that decide whether SaaS design work pays off, in our experience of this kind of project:
Information architecture before screens. On a multi-module product, navigation is the first design problem, not a late one. If a proposal starts at wireframes, ask what happens when the tenth module arrives.
States, not screens. Loading, empty, error, partial, permission-denied. A quote counted in screens is a quote that has not thought about states, and states are where a build overruns.
A design system, documented. Tokens, components and rules in Figma, so the tenth screen is as good as the first and your developers get components rather than pictures.
The day-one screen. Every dashboard is designed with a full year of data in the mock-up. The version most customers meet has three rows and a chart with two points. Ask to see that version in the proposal.
Our own approach to all four is on the SaaS product design page, and the wider process from research to handoff is on UI/UX design. If you want a short, blunt read on where your current product loses people before you commission anything, the free 15-point UX audit takes one working day and you can take the findings to any firm on this page.
Frequently asked questions
Is this list ranked?
No. It is alphabetical. We have not worked with the other nine firms, so we have no honest basis for ordering them, and neither does any list that claims to have one.
How were these ten chosen?
Each has an Indian street address on its own website and SaaS, B2B or enterprise product work in its own published positioning. Firms we could not verify from their own site were left out, however often a directory named them.
Does a SaaS design agency need to be in a metro?
No. The useful comparison is time zone, working hours and how quickly a question gets answered, not the pin on the map. Three of the ten firms here are outside the usual metros.
Should I hire a design studio or a development company with designers?
If you know what to build and need it built, a development company is cheaper and simpler. If the thing you are unsure about is what the product should do, hire the studio. Buying the wrong one of those two is the most common and most expensive mistake in this category.
What does SaaS product design cost in India?
It varies too much for a single number to mean anything, and any agency quoting a fixed price before seeing your product is quoting somebody else’s product. The scope drivers are number of roles, number of modules, how many states each screen needs, and whether a design system exists already. We publish our own prices where we can hold them and quote product work per project after a call.
