SaaS UI/UX design for Bangalore teams

SaaS UI/UX design for Bangalore products.

IXdesign is a UI/UX design studio in Surat, not Bengaluru. What we bring to a Bangalore SaaS team is a portfolio of dashboards and B2B web apps, full IST overlap, and none of the overhead that a Koramangala address puts into an hourly rate.

Be clear about this first

We are in Surat. We design for Bengaluru.

There is no IXdesign desk in Bengaluru. Our one studio is at 617, Laxmi Enclave 2, Katargam, Surat, and every project in our portfolio was designed there. If you need a design partner who will walk into your office on a Tuesday, we are the wrong studio and we would rather say that on this page than in week three.

What we are is a small, senior team that has spent most of its work on exactly the thing Bengaluru builds: B2B software with dense screens and a short window to prove itself. Analytics dashboards, admin panels, audit and compliance tools, storage and file management, trading and investment interfaces. Those are real projects, not verticals we listed because they sound good.

Remote is the normal case for us rather than the pandemic leftover. Same country, same time zone, same working day: a question at ten is answered at ten, and design review does not wait for a European or American morning. For most Bengaluru teams that is the whole practical difference between an Indian studio and an offshore one.

What Bangalore teams hire us for

Four briefs we are built for.

The dashboard nobody can read

Every metric is on the screen and none of them answer a question. We decide what the screen is for before we decide what it shows.

Trial-to-paid onboarding

The product is good on day thirty and unexplainable on day one. Empty states, first-run and the first real task are the design work.

A design system your team can hold

Components, states, spacing and tokens documented in Figma, so a growing engineering team stops re-inventing the same button.

A UX audit before the next funding round

A ranked, unflattering list of what is costing you activation, delivered in one working day and free for the first pass.

How it runs

A remote engagement that behaves like an in-house one.

Your tools, not ours

Figma, Slack or your channel of choice, your ticket tracker. We do not ask a Bengaluru product team to learn a studio process.

Weekly, not monthly

A visible increment every week. If a week produced nothing worth showing, we say that too, which is rarer than it should be.

Developer-first handoff

Documented components and states, plus a live session with your engineers on the first screen so the second one needs no session at all.

In person when it matters

A flight, not a formality. For a kickoff or a workshop with a wide stakeholder group we will come to Bengaluru; we quote it openly rather than folding it in.

Context

Bengaluru is not short of designers. It is short of design that survives contact with a roadmap.

Bengaluru has more product designers than the rest of India put together and the highest agency rates in the country. If the only thing you need is a portfolio of beautiful screens, you have hundreds of options within five kilometres of your office and no reason to read this page.

The gap we keep being hired into is different. A team has design talent but not design time: one designer covering three squads, or a founder doing the flows at midnight between investor calls. What they need is not inspiration, it is throughput on the unglamorous surfaces — settings, permissions, billing, empty states, the admin panel that customer success lives in — done by people who have drawn those screens before.

That work travels well. It does not need a shared kitchen, it needs a clear brief, a fast feedback loop and someone who has seen the same problem in another product. We are cheaper than a Bengaluru studio for a structural reason rather than a promotional one: our costs are a Surat studio's costs. We would rather you knew that than assumed we were cutting corners somewhere less visible.

And if the answer turns out to be that you should hire in-house instead, the free UX audit still leaves you with a prioritised list your next designer can start on. That is a fine outcome for us.

Questions

What Bengaluru teams usually ask.

Do you have an office in Bangalore?

No. Our only office is in Katargam, Surat. Everything we do for Bengaluru clients runs remotely, with travel for kickoffs or workshops when a project justifies it.

How does a remote studio handle a fast-moving roadmap?

Weekly increments in a shared Figma file, your Slack channel, and a standing slot for review. We work IST hours, so nothing waits overnight for an answer.

Can you work alongside our in-house designer?

Yes, and it is a common arrangement. Usually we take the surfaces the in-house team never gets to, and adopt their existing design system rather than replacing it.

Do you design mobile apps as well as web?

Yes. The portfolio includes mobile products alongside the dashboards and web apps, and several projects span both.

What is the cheapest way to find out if this works?

Ask for the free 15-point UX audit. Send a live URL or a test account, and in one working day you get what to fix first, ranked by impact, with a fix for each point.
