Our address is 617, Laxmi Enclave 2, near Gajera School, Katargam. That is the only office IXdesign has. Everything on this site — the dashboards, the learning apps, the trading screens — was designed from that room by the same small team, for clients in India and abroad.
For a company inside Surat that matters in a very ordinary way. You can come and look at work in progress on a real screen instead of a PDF. We can walk a flow with your sales team, your operations lead and your developer in the same hour, which is normally three separate calls and a week of lag. And when something breaks two months after launch, the people who designed it are still a short drive away.
Being in Katargam also means the first meeting is easy wherever in the city you are. Amroli, Patel Nagar, Adajan, Vesu, Udhna and the textile and diamond markets in between are all a short drive, and we would rather spend an hour at your desk than a week trading emails.
We are not going to pretend that being local is the whole argument. Most of what we do is remote, in Figma, with teams we have never met. Surat is a city of textiles, diamonds, chemicals and family-run trading houses, and almost every one of those businesses now runs on software that somebody wrote quickly and nobody ever designed. Inventory systems, karigar tracking, dealer ordering, dispatch and billing — the logic is usually sound and the interface is usually punishing.
That is the work we like most, because the gain is easy to see. When a dispatch clerk stops making the same mistake at four in the afternoon, nobody needs a slide to explain the return. The same is true of the newer software companies here: a good backend with an interface that loses trial users in the first five minutes.
It also means the competition for a Surat company is not really other Surat designers. It is a metro agency that will bill you like a metro agency, or a freelancer who is excellent until they take a full-time job. We sit in between deliberately: a small studio with a real process, a real address, and clients outside Gujarat who keep our standards honest.

Yes. We are at 617, Laxmi Enclave 2, near Gajera School, Katargam, Monday to Friday 9 to 6 and Saturday morning. Call or email first so the right people are there rather than on a client call.
Do you only work with Surat companies?
No, and most of our clients are not in Surat. We design for product teams across India and abroad. Being in Surat is convenient for local companies, not a limit on who we work with.
We need development as well as design. Can you do both?
We design, and we build websites on our own code-first WordPress theme. For product engineering we hand off to your developers, or to a development partner you choose — we do not pretend to be an app development shop.
Is a local studio cheaper than a Bangalore or Mumbai agency?
