Tronics Vehicle Registration System
A vehicle registration system: a seven-step form that stays readable however complicated the vehicle is.

About the project
What was designed.
Registering a vehicle means a long form, and long forms are abandoned in the middle. The flow is broken into seven numbered sections with a persistent stepper across the top: icons for the sections behind you, the current one named and numbered, the rest waiting. Progress is visible at all times and no single step asks for more than one screen of information.
Inside a section the questions are grouped the way a person thinks about a vehicle: identity and description on the left, fuel type and body style as radio groups on the right, where seeing every option at once beats opening a menu. Anything that applies to only some vehicles hides behind a yes or no question, so answering yes to a trailer or commercial vehicle reveals four more fields that nobody else ever sees. Inputs use floating labels, so a completed form still says what each value is.
