Senior UI/UX Designer

Own products end to end: research, user flows, UI and a documented design system in Figma, then support the developers until it ships. You will work directly with clients' product teams.

The role

What you will do.

One designer owns a project here from the first conversation to the shipped screen. That designer would be you, on two or three products at a time.

  • Take a client brief and turn it into a plan: what the product has to do, for whom, and which screens have to exist.
  • Run the research that the design rests on. User interviews, a competitor teardown, and a proper read of whatever analytics you are given.
  • Draw flows and wireframes before UI, and prototype in Figma so the logic can be tested before anything is polished.
  • Design the interface, then build and maintain the design system behind it: tokens, components, variants and every state, so the tenth screen is as good as the first.
  • Hand off to developers with specs they can build from, and stay through implementation, reviewing what gets built against what was designed.
  • Present the work to the client yourself, defend the decisions, and say plainly when something should not be built.
  • Show up to the weekly review with work to critique, and critique other people's properly.

Requirements

What we are looking for.

  • Three or more years designing digital products, with a portfolio of shipped screens rather than dribbble concepts.
  • Fluent in Figma: components, variants, auto layout, variables, prototyping, and a file another designer can pick up.
  • Able to design dense interfaces (dashboards, admin panels, data tables, forms) as confidently as a marketing page.
  • A working grasp of responsive layout, accessibility basics, and the difference between a picture of a screen and a specification a developer can build.
  • Written and spoken English good enough to run a client call and write the decisions down afterwards.
  • Comfortable owning a project without being managed through it, and comfortable saying you were wrong in a review.
  • Useful but not required: usability testing, motion, or having worked alongside a front-end codebase.
